Legal & Support

Everything you need — policies, your rights, and help when you need it.

Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using Passit.
Effective Date: May 9, 2026

By accessing or using the Passit platform — including the mobile app, web portals, and any related services — you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account on behalf of a minor, you agree to these terms on their behalf.

1. What Passit Provides

Passit is a Caribbean exam preparation platform designed to help students prepare for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) and Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations. We provide practice questions, worked solutions, writing feedback through the Passit Writing Coach, and progress tracking for parents.

Passit aligns strictly with published SEA and CSEC syllabi. We do not guarantee specific examination results — success depends on the student's consistent practice and engagement with the platform.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on Passit — including practice questions, worked solutions, model answers, the Passit Writing Coach feedback logic, and all platform design — is the exclusive intellectual property of Passit and its licensed contributors.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access content for your child's private study. You may not:

  • Copy, distribute or reproduce questions or answers for commercial use
  • Scrape, extract or systematically download platform content
  • Share downloaded content with other students or institutions without permission

Questions contributed by teachers remain the intellectual property of Passit once accepted and published on the platform.

3. Accounts and Access

Each subscription covers one student account. Sharing login credentials with other students or families is a breach of these terms and will result in account suspension without a refund.

Parent accounts are for parents and guardians only. Child accounts are created by parents through the Parent Portal and are linked to the parent account. Children under 13 require parental consent to use the platform.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are processed securely through Fygaro. Passit does not store your payment information.

  • Free Trial: 14 days of full access. No payment required during the trial period.
  • Monthly Plan: TT$170 per month, billed monthly.
  • Yearly Plan: TT$1,500 per year — approximately 26% savings.
  • Family Plans: Discounted rates available for 2 or 3 children.
  • School Group Rate: TT$120 per child per month for groups of 10 or more.
Refund Policy: Since digital content access is immediate upon payment, all sales are final once premium content has been accessed. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, please contact support within 7 days of payment and we will review your case.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Passit only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to circumvent any access controls, interfere with platform security, or use automated tools to interact with the platform.

6. Changes to These Terms

Passit reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Any disputes arising from use of the Passit platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.

Privacy Policy
Your privacy — and your child's privacy — is our priority.
Effective Date: May 9, 2026
In plain English: We collect only what we need to make Passit work. We never sell student data. Parents can view or delete their child's data at any time. We comply with the Trinidad and Tobago Data Protection Act and COPPA standards for child safety.

1. What Information We Collect

  • Parents and guardians: Name, email address, and billing information. Billing is processed by Fygaro — Passit does not store payment card details.
  • Students: First name, exam type (SEA or CSEC), selected subjects, practice scores, topic accuracy data, and study session history.
  • Usage data: App login times, features used, and session duration — used only to improve the platform.

We do not collect student photographs, location data, phone numbers, or any social identifiers.

2. How We Use Data

  • To personalise your child's practice based on their strengths and weak areas
  • To generate weekly progress reports sent to the parent's email
  • To power the Passit Writing Coach feedback on creative writing submissions
  • To show parents their child's exam readiness and improvement over time
  • To send inactivity alerts so parents can encourage consistent practice
  • To improve platform quality — question accuracy, difficulty calibration, and new content areas
We never sell student data to third parties. We do not share personally identifiable student information with advertisers, data brokers, or any commercial third party.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Local Law)

Passit takes the privacy of students seriously. Student accounts are created and controlled by parents through the Parent Portal. Children under 13 cannot create accounts independently — all access is parent-mediated.

We comply with:

  • The Trinidad and Tobago Data Protection Act
  • COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) standards for platforms used by children

Student data is never used for advertising and is never visible to other students on the platform. There is no student-to-student communication feature.

4. Parental Controls and Rights

As a parent or guardian you have the right to:

  • View all data Passit holds about your child at any time via the Parent Portal
  • Request correction of any inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your child's account and all associated data
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by closing the account

5. Data Storage and Security

All Passit data is stored securely on Supabase — a SOC 2 compliant cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted by role-based security policies.

We retain student practice data for as long as the account is active. Upon account deletion all personal data is removed within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

Passit uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Fygaro — secure payment processing. Subject to Fygaro's privacy policy.
  • Supabase — secure data storage and authentication.
  • Resend — email delivery for progress reports and notifications.

None of these providers are authorised to use student data for any purpose other than providing their service to Passit.

7. Contact About Privacy

For any privacy-related questions, data access requests, or deletion requests, contact us at privacy@passit.club or use the Support form on this page.

Cookie Policy
We keep this simple — we use the minimum necessary to make Passit work.
Effective Date: May 9, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device by your browser. They help websites remember your preferences and keep you logged in between sessions.

2. What We Use

  • Session tokens: When you log in, Passit stores an authentication token in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in. This is essential for the platform to function.
  • Preference storage: Your portal settings — like which child is selected or tutorial completion — are stored locally on your device.
  • No tracking cookies: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Your Choices

You can clear browser storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing storage will log you out of the Passit portals and reset your local preferences.

The Passit mobile app uses equivalent device storage — not browser cookies — and follows the same principles.

Passit does not serve advertising and does not use cookies to track you across other websites. What happens on Passit stays on Passit.
